Catorze sarcófagos com cerca de 2.500 anos foram encontrados no fundo de um poço na necrópole de Saqqara, no sudoeste do Cairo. A nova descoberta soma-se a de outros 13 sarcófagos descobertos uma semana antes no mesmo local, informou o Ministério de Antiguidades do Egito. Localizado a 25 km ao sul das pirâmides de Gizé, o sítio de Saqqara abriga ainda a famosa pirâmide de degraus do Faraó Djoser, a primeira da era faraônica.
